A mixed day; lots of excitement going in so the reality is always a bit less than anticipated. Looking at my the volume of my notes, a few fascinating speakers stand out:
A great deal of attention is being focused on social media in the enterprise ( "Enterprise 2.0"). McKinsey, IBM, SocialText, and Forrester are all touting the benefits of social computing for solving business problems.
This week in Santa Monica, WPP is hosting the Digital Innovation at Retail event (registration here). The event is designed to bring together clients and agencies within the agency network to focus on big ideas and trends that affect retailers.
Sean O'Driscoll is the invited speaker this week at VML's Seattle office, part our "Lunch and Learn" series (tho this one is taking place at 9am so its more of a "Bagels and Brainstorm" or "Coffee and Powerpoint" kinda thing).

Homework for a conference?! We haven't felt the need to cram for finals like this since freshman philosophy with Dr. Richard De George.
Leave it to the TED Conference folks to reinvent conference networking.
